Chief Guerrero, a former Pharr Police Department lieutenant who most recently worked as an investigator with the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, also served as a trustee on Donna school district’s board until 2008.

“I have an open door policy. Anybody in the community that has a complaint, a concern, I’m here at the office,” Guerrero said of his message to the community. “I’m here for them; I’m here to protect them.”
